The Ingredients need to make Kerala Style Bhindi Fry:
- It’s 500 grams of Bhindi
- It’s 10 of Pearl onions
- Prepare 2 of Green chillies
- It’s 1 sprig of Curry leaves
- It’s 1/2 teaspoon of Mustard
- It’s 1/2 teaspoon of Turmeric Powder
- Prepare 1/4 cup of Grated Coconut
- You need as per taste of Salt
- You need 2 teaspoon of Cooking oil
Step to make Kerala Style Bhindi Fry:
- Heat oil in a heavy bottomed kadai. Add Mustard seeds, allow it to crackle. Then add in chopped onions, curry leaves and saute until the onions become tender.
- Once the onions are soft and tender, add in green chillies, Bhindi and salt. Cover pan cook till Bhindi is half done.
- Once the Bhindi is half done add the Turmeric powder, grated coconut and cook for few minutes or till Bhindi is done. Check salt and adjust salt accordingly.
- Once done, transfer the Bhindi to a serving bowl and serve warm.
