  2. You need 2-3 tsp of Ginger ,Garlic Paste

  4. It’s 2 tsp of Kashmiri Chilli Powder
  5. It’s 1 tsp of White Pepper Powder
  6. Prepare 1 tsp of Black Pepper Powder
  7. Prepare 1/4 tsp of Turmeric Powder
  8. You need As required of Salt
  9. Prepare As required of Coconut Oil (For Shallow Frying)
Step to make Kerala Style Prawns Fry (Chemmeen Fry):
  1. Marinate the cleaned prawns with ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric powder, white pepper powder, black pepper powder, kashmiri chilli powder and salt. Keep in refrigerator for minimum 30 minute It is best if marinated overnight.
  2. Heat coconut oil in a kadai. Shallow fry prawns till golden brown colour. Serve hot with rice and fish curry.
  3. Tip To make it more flavourful, you can deep fry 1 sprig of curry leaves in hot oil and mix it with the fried prawn
