The Ingredients needed to make Daikon Radish Miso Soup with Small Dried Sardines:
  1. Prepare 600 ml of Water
  2. It’s 6 small of dried sardines (niboshi)
  3. You need 1/4 of Daikon radish (julienne)
  4. It’s 1 of Aburaage (cut into rectangles)
  5. It’s 1 block of Silken tofu (diced)
  6. It’s 2 tbsp of Miso
  7. It’s 1/2 of Japanese leek (sliced into thin rounds)
Step to make Daikon Radish Miso Soup with Small Dried Sardines:
  1. Remove heads and guts of the dried sardine Snap in half. Add water and sardines into a pot, and soak for about 1 hour.
  2. Turn on the heat. When it starts to boil, turn down the heat to low, and boil for 10 minute
  3. Turn up the heat to medium, then add the daikon radish and aburaage. When the daikon radish softens, add the tofu.
  4. Bring to a boil again, and add the miso and Japanese leek.
