The Ingredients needed to make Mutkale - Rice Balls in red hot sauce with mutton:
  1. It’s 3.1/2 cup of grated coconut
  2. You need 12-14 of dry red chillies
  3. Prepare 3/4 tbsp of saunf
  4. It’s 1/2 cup of chopped onion
  5. It’s 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder
  6. You need of Salt as required
  7. It’s 1/2 kg of mutton
  8. It’s 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste
  9. Prepare 1 bunch of curry leaves (optional)
  10. You need 2 cups of rice (soaked overnight)
Step to make Mutkale - Rice Balls in red hot sauce with mutton:
  1. Take mutton, add 1/4 cup onion, ginger garlic paste and salt and pressure cook it till 5-6 whistles (depends). Keep aside
  2. Grind together 3 cups grated coconut, red chillies, 1/2 cup onion, saunf, turmeric powder.
  3. The ground mixture shouldnt be too thin, not even too coarse..
  4. Mix rogether Rice, 1 1/2 cup grated coconut and salt.
  5. Grind it coarsely.
  6. Roll the rice and coconut mixture in diamond shape and flatten one point with your finger.
  7. In a sauce pan, heat oil and add another 1/4 cup onion and salt. Fry it till transparent. Then add ground coconut chilli masala and 5-6 cups of water cups of
  8. Bring it to boil. Add curry leaves, wait for 5 minutes and add rice balls in it.(Do not put all balls together to avoid sticking. Put all the balls in 4 equal portions with a gap of 2-3 minutes in between)
  9. Once its half done, add cooked mutton and coriander leave Cook it for 10-15 again..
  10. Check salt, add if needed. Mix well and take it away from stove.. Serve hot.
