The Ingredients needed to make Kerala Sardine fish Fry!:
- It’s 250 gms of Sardines/Mathi/chala
- You need 2-3 tsp of red chilli powder
- It’s 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder
- It’s 1/4 tsp of coriander powder
- It’s 1 tsp of rice flour
- You need 1 tsp of vinegar/lime juice
- Prepare 1 tsp of coconut oil
- Prepare of salt as required
- Prepare 3-4 tbsp of coconut oil for frying
Step to make Kerala Sardine fish Fry!:
- Clean and make gashes in sardine and drain out the excess water
- In a bowl mix together ingredients from 2 to 9,by adding required salt.
- Add this paste to the fish and rub it into it, let it sit for sometime
- Heat a pan add oil for frying,once hot add the fish pieces and bring down the flame.
- Cover using a lid and fry in low flame for 5 minutes
- Turn the fish to other side and repeat the 5 step.
