The Ingredients needed to make Dashi Japanese-style Omelet:
  1. Prepare 3 of Egg (medium)
  2. You need 300 grams of Tofu (silken)
  3. It’s 3 tbsp of Mirin
  4. Prepare 3 tbsp of Mentsuyu (2x concentrate)
  5. It’s 1 of Grated daikon radish
Step to make Dashi Japanese-style Omelet:
  1. Cover the bottom of a heatproof dish with plastic wrap so that no air can get through. ※ This is to prevent the egg mixture from sticking to the container.
  2. Put the tofu in a bowl and whip with a whisk until its the consistency of cream. Add the eggs when the tofu is smooth.
  3. Add the mirin and mentsuyu to the bowl in Step 2. Mix it well.
  4. Pour the egg mixture from Step 3 into the lined dish from Step 1, and wrap it in plastic wrap. Microwave for 8-10 minutes at 600 W.
  5. Take the wrap off and let cool down a bit. Slice into pieces and serve with grated daikon radish.
  6. I also tried making it in a Lekué silicone container. Its even easier because you dont have to wrap it in plastic wrap!
