The Ingredients need to make Veg Manchurian Rice(Indo-chinese recipe):
  1. It’s of Manchurian Balls
  2. It’s 1 cup of grated or finely chopped cabbage
  3. You need 2/3 cup of carrot
  4. You need 4 of red, orange peppers small finely chopped
  5. You need 2 tbsp of cornflour
  6. You need 2 tbsp of wheat flour
  7. You need 1 tbsp of rice flour
  8. You need 1 tsp of cumincoriander powder
  9. You need 1 tsp of salt
  10. You need 1/2 tsp of chilli powder
  11. You need 1/2 tsp of garam masala
  12. It’s 1/4 tsp of pepper
  13. It’s of Oil for frying
  14. Prepare of For making rice
  15. You need 1 of big onion finely chopped
  16. It’s 2 tbsp of soy sauce
  17. Prepare 1/2 tsp of tomato ketchup or less as u like
  18. It’s 1-1/2 tbsp of schezwan sauce as per taste
  19. Prepare 1 inch of ginger finely chopped
  20. You need 6-7 of garlic finely chopped
  21. It’s 2 tbsp of Oil
  22. Prepare 2 cups of sona masoori rice
  23. You need 3 cups of Water
  24. Prepare of Whole garam masala spices
  25. It’s 5-6 of cardamom
  26. You need 6-7 of cloves
  27. You need 1 of Stone flower
  28. You need 8-10 of Peppercorn
  29. You need 1 tsp of Shah jeera
  30. Prepare 1/4 tsp of salt
  31. Prepare 1/4 cup of Spring onions chopped
  32. Prepare 15 of cashew nuts(optional)
Step to make Veg Manchurian Rice(Indo-chinese recipe):
  1. Wash rice thoroughly and add the whole garam masala spices, salt and pour 3 cups of water to cook the rice.
  2. Mix all the machurian balls ingredients thoroughly and knead with little pressure so that it comes together well.
  3. Make small balls and keep it aside
  4. Heat oil in a pan to shallow fry or deep fry the manchurian balls and keep them on paper napkin.
  5. Take a pan which is big enough to mix rice in it.
  6. In the pan pour approx 2 tbsp oil
  7. Add chopped onion, ginger and garlic; after frying a little add some salt.
  8. Let it fry well till the onions turn brown.
  9. Add soy sauce, ketchup and schezwan sauce to the pan
  10. Let it cook for 2 minutes and add the manchurian balls
  11. Let the manchurian balls get mixed well with the sauces for 2-3 minutes
  12. Now add the cooked rice to it and mix well. Check for salt and add if necessary, also grind some pepper on top if u like
  13. Garnish with spring onions, roasted cashew and serve hot.
  14. Note1 Add finely chopped green chillies along with onions, ginger garlic, if u like it very spicy.
  15. Note2 If you prefer to use basmati rice, do not mind the water ratio given and cook following whichever process u know to get rice seperately without sticking.
  16. Note3 I used Indian traditional appam pan to fry the manchurian balls, good thing about this is it reduces the oil needed.
