The Ingredients needed to make South Indian meal:
  1. You need of For oats idli–
  2. You need 1 cup of oats (roasted and blended)
  3. It’s 1/2 cup of semolina (suji)
  4. It’s 1 cup of curd
  5. You need 1 tsp of chanadal
  6. Prepare 1 tsp of urad dal
  7. Prepare leaves of Few coriander
  8. You need 2 tbsp of oil
  9. You need 1/2 tsp of baking soda (optional)
  10. You need 7-8 of cashews
  11. Prepare to taste of Salt
  12. It’s 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds
  13. You need 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds
  14. It’s as needed of Water
  15. It’s of for thakkali kurma—
  16. It’s 2 of tomatoes (finely chopped)
  17. Prepare 1 cup of coconut milk
  18. Prepare 2 of green chillies
  19. Prepare 1 of bay leaf
  20. It’s 1 stick of cinnamon
  21. You need 2 of cardamom
  22. It’s 1 of onion
  23. It’s 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder
  24. Prepare 1 tsp of red chilli powder
  25. Prepare 1/2 tsp of coriander powder
  26. Prepare 1/4 tsp of cumin powder
  27. You need 1/2 tsp of fennal seeds
  28. Prepare 1 of spring Curry leaves
  29. It’s 2 tbsp of oil
  30. It’s leaves of Coriander
  31. It’s to taste of Salt
  32. It’s of for sambar—
  33. You need 1/2 cup of toor dal(washed and soaked)
  34. It’s 1/4 cup of tamarind juice
  35. It’s 1 of onion(sliced long)
  36. You need 1/2 cup of pumpkin (cubed)..Add more veggies of ur choice)
  37. You need 2 of green chillies (silt)
  38. You need 2 tbsp of sambar masala powder
  39. You need leaves of Few coriander
  40. You need to taste of Salt
  41. It’s 1 tbsp of coconut oil
  42. Prepare 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds
  43. You need 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds
  44. It’s 1 Pinch of hing
  45. It’s 1 of spring curry leaves
  46. Prepare 2 of dry red chillies
  47. You need 2 tbsp of oil
  48. You need of for coconut chutney–
  49. Prepare 1/2 of fresh coconut
  50. It’s 1 of green chillies
  51. Prepare 1/2 tsp of chanadal (soaked)
  52. You need 2 tbsp of curd
  53. Prepare 1/2 inch of ginger
  54. Prepare 1 tsp of raw peanuts
  55. It’s 1 tsp of oil
  56. It’s 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds
  57. It’s 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds
  58. It’s 1 of dry red chilli
  59. You need leaves of Few curry
  60. Prepare of for rice–
  61. It’s 1 cup of basmati rice (washed and soaked)
  62. It’s 3 cup of water
  63. You need to taste of Salt
Step to make South Indian meal:
  1. Making oats idli—dry roast the oats for 2allow to cool and then to coarse powder.keep aside.
  2. Heat a pan with oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds,chanadal,urad dal..And saute till they splutter.
  3. Add 1/2cup of suji and roast for 2 And let it cool completely.
  4. In a mixing bowl take the roasted suji mixture along with oats and salt and mix well.
  5. Add curd and give it a good mix.add required water and mix to get idli batter consistency.
  6. Add chopped coriander leaves and leave the batter atleast 10
  7. Before steaming add b.and mix.
  8. Meanwhile grease the plates with oil and place cashew in the mould.
  9. Pour batter into the idli moulds and steam it for 10 to 15
  10. MAKING KURMA—heat a pan with 2tbsp of oil..Add cardamom, cinnamon, fennal seeds, curry leaves and bay leave
  11. After they papaya add chopped Onion and saute till it translucent.
  12. Add green chilli and chopped tomatoe.And cook them till they turn mushy and there is no chunk
  13. Add salt,red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder.
  14. Mix till they combined.add little water and mix.
  15. After the raw smell goes off from the masala add coconut milk.(I prepared coconut milk by grinding with water in a mixer and then strained)
  16. Let it boil for few sec.and then turn off the flame.
  17. Garnish with coriander leave.And tempering with mustard seeds and curry leave
  18. MAKING SAMBAR—Cook the toor dal along with water, chopped green chillies,chopped pumpkin salt and turmeric powder.
  19. Soak the tamarind in warm water and squeeze to extract the juice.
  20. Heat a pan with 2tbsp of oil..Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red dry chilli, hing and curry leave
  21. Once they papaya add onion and saute till translucent.
  22. Add sambar masala and sauté.
  23. Add cooked dal along with needed water and add tamarind juice.bring it to boil or cook for 5 to 10
  24. MAKING COCONUT CHUTNEY—GRIND together… Coconut, chanadal, peanuts, green chilli, ginger and curd to a smooth consistency.
  25. Heat a tempering pan with 1tsp oil…Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, and dry red chilli…When they start to papaya dunk into the prepared chutney and mix
  26. .MAKING RICE—-In a rice pot boil water and add salt.
  27. Add prewashed and soaked rice into the boiling stir it and let it cook for 10 to 15
