The Ingredients needed to make Stovetop Biscuits:
- You need of self rising flour more for dusting
- You need of evaporated milk
- You need of Lyles Golden Syrup
- You need of butter cubed
Step to make Stovetop Biscuits:
- Heat a cast iron skillet.
- Mash the butter into the flour till it looks like sand. Add milk and mix.
- Dust with flour and knead just a bit. Form into 2 inch disc.
- Add to the hot skillet and cover, leave space enough to turn the Biscuits Let cook 7-8 minutes, on medium heat, and turn.
- Cook 3 minutes on second side, covered. This is an old Griswold lid which I heated up before putting on my skillet.
- Serve with Lyles Golden Syrup or honey. I hope you enjoy!
