- Prepare 3/4 cup of Sugar
- Prepare 50 gm of Fresh Cream or Malai
- It’s 1 cup of Milk
- You need 1/8 tsp of Nutmeg powder
- You need 2 tbsp of Almonds slivered
- It’s of FOR THE TARTLETS -
- It’s 1 cup of All Purpose Flour or Maida
- It’s 1/4 cup of Cold Butter cubes
- You need 1 pinch of Salt
- Prepare of Water as required for the dough
Step to make Jujube/Indian Plum Pudding Tartlets:
- Cook Jujube fruits on medium high heat for about 10 minutes or until tender. They get done very easily. Dont forget to deseed them prior to cooking.
- Meanwhile prepare the dough for the tartlet Add the butter in the flour and keep rubbing with hands until it combines well. Add sufficient water to make a smooth dough and refrigerate it for 30 minute It is important. Keep aside to cool.
- Meanwhile work on your pudding. Blend this cooked jujube along with all the ingredients until smooth and fluffy.
