The Ingredients need to make Mexican Bhindi Fry:
- Prepare 500 gms of okra (diced)
- You need 1 of diced onion
- It’s 1 tsp of garlic paste
- It’s As required of Oil for frying
- Prepare 2 tsp of Oil for sauting
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of ajwain/carom seeds
- You need 1/2 tsp of oregano
- It’s 1/2 tsp of chilli flakes
- You need 1/2 tsp of peri peri masala
- You need 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder
- Prepare 1 pinch of asafoetida
- You need to taste of Salt
Step to make Mexican Bhindi Fry:
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the diced okra (bhindi). Fry until it turns a bit brown.
- Heat oil in another pan and add ajwain seed As soon as it turns brown, add asofoetida. Now add garlic paste and saute until it turns golden brown.
- Now add diced onions to it then add salt and turmeric powder and saute for 2 min
- Cover the lid and Cook the onions for 5 min Now add the fried okra and add all the spices and mix well.
- Stir for 2-3 min Cover the lid and cook for 5 min
- Open the lid and stir until the okra turns crispy.
