Delta banga soup is best served with starch or eba. This Banga soup is one of many delta state soups in Nigeria. While it is indigenous to the Deltas, it is also loved and enjoyed by both People from Edo state and all over the Niger Delta state

The Ingredients needed to make Banga soup with starch:
  1. You need 800 g of tinned palm fruit concentrate
  2. You need 50 g of Beef
  3. Prepare 1 of Dry fish
  4. It’s leaf of Crushed bitter
  5. You need 1 of Onion
  6. Prepare to taste of Salt
  7. You need 4 of Fresh pepper
  8. It’s 1 of Ogiri okepi
  9. You need of Ata rodo(scotch bonnet)
  10. Prepare 1 of Tilapia
  11. It’s 1 sachet of Banga spices
  12. It’s 1 of maggi

When the fish and beef are cooked, add the palm fruit concentrate and water and cook to desired consistency. Banga soup and starch is a very delicious meal enjoyed by the people of Delta state in the southern part of Nigeria, though its enjoyed around other part of the country.   5. Stir and let it boil till you can smell and taste the spices in the palmoil extract.
  6. Add Maggi and salt,add fish lower the heat and cover the pot.
  7. Add bitter leaf,still with the low heat.sheat.simply let the soup cook untill oil start floating on the surface.food is ready better serve with starch.
