- Prepare 100 grams of ★Pancake mix
- It’s 70 grams of ★Yogurt
- Prepare 1 of ★Egg
- Prepare 5 grams of ★Butter or margarine
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Matcha or aojiru
- Prepare 1 of as much as you need to make it the color you like (You can also use matcha latte mix)
- It’s 50 grams of Amanatto or boiled adzuki beans
Step to make Two-Colored Matcha Adzuki Bean Steamed Cake made with a Hand Mixer:
- Add all of the ★ ingredients to a bowl (no need to drain the yogurt, but melt the butter first), then mix with an egg beater until smooth.
- Add half of the batter to a microwave safe container, and drop it several times to flatten.
- Let the surface dry a bit and microwave for about 40 seconds to harden. It will swell right away, so keep a close eye on it!
- Once the surface has dried a bit, spread out the amanatto (or boiled adzuki beans) evenly.
- Add the matcha to the remaining half of the batter, and mix well.
- Pour in the matcha over the amanatto batter, and microwave at 500W for 3~4 minute
- Poke it with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, its done.
