The Ingredients needed to make Beef Rice Bowl – Gyudon:
  1. It’s 1/2 pound of beef
  2. Prepare 1 of white onion
  3. It’s 1 clove of garlic
  4. Prepare 1 tablespoon of oil
  5. Prepare 2 teaspoons of sugar
  6. You need 2 tablespoons of sake
  7. You need 2 tablespoons of mirin
  8. It’s 2 tablespoons of dashi stock
  9. Prepare 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  10. It’s 2 of eggs
  11. Prepare 2 cups of cooked rice
  12. It’s 1 of green onion
  13. You need of pickled ginger
Step to make Beef Rice Bowl – Gyudon:
  1. Cut the onions and beef into thin slice
  2. Heat the oil in wide skillet over medium high heat. Add the onions and garlic and cook until the onions are tender, about 5 minute
  3. Add the beef cook until browned.
  4. Add the sugar, sake, mirin, dashi and soy sauce. Reduce heat to low and simmer until most of the liquid is gone.
  5. Scramble the eggs in a small bowl. Add the egg to the pan. Cook for a few minutes until the egg is just cooked.
  6. Place the beef and egg on top of steamed rice and pour desired amount of sauce. Top with pickled red ginger and green onion.
