The Ingredients need to make Vickys Mushroom Pâté, GF DF EF SF NF:
- It’s 1 tbsp of sunflower spread / butter
- You need 1/2 of onion, chopped
- Prepare 450 g of white mushrooms chopped (1 pounds)
- Prepare 70 g of dry gluten-free breadcrumbs (3/4 cups)
- It’s 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- It’s 1 tbsp of freshly chopped parsley
- It’s 1/2 tbsp of lemon juice
- You need 1/2 tsp of black pepper
- It’s to taste of Salt
Step to make Vickys Mushroom Pâté, GF DF EF SF NF:
- Melt the sunflower spread in a pan over a medium heat then fry the onions until translucent
- Add the mushrooms and cook for a further 8 - 10 minutes
- Remove from the heat then add the breadcrumbs, raw chopped garlic, parsley, lemon juice and pepper
- Let cool then puree through a food processor and add salt to taste
- Set in the fridge for a couple of hours then enjoy spread on a piece of toasted bread
