We all love biryani, but when it comes to preparing them most of us, step back because of the tedious proces But trust me, once you learn. Vegetable Dum biryani is a famous spicy rice recipe from India.

The Ingredients needed to make Aromat Dum Cooked Chana Biryani:
  1. Prepare 3 cups of Chickpeas (kabuli chana) boiled
  2. It’s 3 cups of Cooked rice
  3. Prepare 4 tablespoons of Ghee
  4. It’s 1 teaspoon of Cumin seeds
  5. You need 3-5 of Garlic cloves roughly chopped
  6. You need 3 of Green chillies chopped
  7. It’s 1 inch of Ginger chopped
  8. It’s 2 of Onions chopped
  9. Prepare 3 of Tomatoes
  10. Prepare 1 teaspoon of Red chilli powder
  11. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of Turmeric powder
  12. Prepare 1 tablespoon of Coriander powder
  13. You need 1 teaspoon of Garam masala powder
  14. You need to taste of Salt
  15. You need 2 tablespoon of Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  16. Prepare 1 tablespoon of Fresh mint leaves chopped
  17. You need 1 of Juice of lemon
  18. Prepare 4-5 of Soaked walnuts

It makes the process easy and consumes less time. During week-ends, I prepare vegetable dum biryani. Dum cooking method: Dum cooking makes biryani so aromatic and flavorful that you will surely fall in love with it. If you are a beginner or never ever made biryani then try this recipe.

Step to make Aromat Dum Cooked Chana Biryani:
  1. Heat 3 tbsps ghee in a non-stick pan and add cumin seed When their colour changes, add garlic and sauté till it turns golden.
  2. Add green chillies and ginger and sauté on medium heat for 1 minute. Add onions and sauté till translucent.
  3. Add tomatoes, Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder and cook on medium heat for 2-3 minute.
  4. Add chickpeas, salt and 2 cups cooking liquor and mix well. Add coriander leaves and mint leaves and cook for 10 minute
  5. Now Chanamasala is ready.
  6. Take cooked Rice.
  7. Add rice, remaining ghee and lemon juice and mix well.
  8. Cook for 5-7 minutes on medium heat.
  9. Transfer into a serving platter.Garnish with mint leaves,coriander leaves,cheese and soaked walnut
  10. Serve hot with fruit Riata and green chillies chutney.
