Chicken Biryani

Hello everyone, hope you are having an incredible day today. Today, I will show you a way to prepare a special dish, Chicken Biryani. It is one of my favorites recipe For mine, I am going to make it a little bit unique. This is gonna smell and look deliciou

The Ingredients needed to make Chicken Biryani:
  1. It’s 1 1/2 kg of chicken
  2. It’s 1 kg of rice
  3. Prepare 4 tbls of biryani masala
  4. It’s 2 of large onions
  5. Prepare 4 of medium tomatoes
  6. It’s 1 cup of yoghurt
  7. Prepare 1/4 cup of lemon juice
  8. Prepare 2 tbls of chopped green chillies
  9. You need 1 cup of oil
  10. It’s of Water as required
  11. It’s 2 of cinnamon sticks
  12. It’s 4 of green cardamom
  13. It’s 2 of black cardamom
  14. It’s 1 tsp of whole black pepper
  15. You need 1 tsp of cumin seeds
  16. You need 1 tsp of jaifal jalwitri powder
  17. You need 2 tbls of salt
  18. It’s 1/2 tbls of garam masala
  19. Prepare 4 of green chillies halves
  20. It’s 2 of lemon wedges
  21. Prepare 2 tbls of fresh mint leaves
  22. It’s of Yellow food colour
  23. It’s 1/4 cup of milk
Step to make Chicken Biryani:
  1. Wash and soak rice for half an hour before boiling. Wash chicken and put them in to bowl.
  2. Peel and cut onions in thin slice Heat up oil and fry onions in oil till brown.
  3. Marinate chicken with yoghurt, biryani masala, green chillies, lemon juice and brown onion Mix and marinate the chicken for an hour approximately.
  4. Add water in large pateela, add salt, green cardamom, black cardamom, cinnamon sticks, cumin seeds and black whole pepper simmer the water and add soaked rice.
  5. Cook rice till ¾ done. Strains the water from rice and set aside.
  6. In a wok which we used to fry onion Add chopped tomatoes cook for a minute then add marinated chicken.
  7. Cook chicken till done. Gravy is not to be thick or nor to be thin.
  8. First add half rice in the pateela and put all the chicken with gravy in on the rice then again spread remaining rice all
  9. At last add lemon wedges, green chillies halves, fresh mint leaves and sprinkle garam masala over the rice.
  10. Sprinkle yellow food colour and pour milk on the colour. Give dum for at least 20 minutes or till done.
  11. Delicious Chicken Biryani is ready to serve with mint Raita.
