The Ingredients needed to make White Bean and Sausage Soup:
  1. It’s 1 lb of white beans (dried)
  2. It’s 1 lb of andiolle sausage (half circle cut)
  3. It’s 64 oz of chicken stock
  4. Prepare 1 of large yellow onion (diced)
  5. You need 1 of orange pepper (diced)
  6. You need 3 of Jalapeños (diced)
  7. It’s 3 tbs of minced garlic
  8. You need 2 of carrots (diced)
  9. Prepare 3 tbs of dried basil
  10. You need 2 tbs of Harvet Seasoning (Homeland blend)
  11. You need 2 tbs of Olive Oil
  12. Prepare 4 slices of thick cut bacon cut into 1 pieces
Step to make White Bean and Sausage Soup:
  1. Wash and rinse bean
  2. Add beans and stock into large Dutch oven, and boil for 10-15 minute
  3. Add bacon to dutch oven.
  4. While the beans are boiling. Heat oil in saute pan, and then add onion
  5. Once the onions are soft, add the peppers, carrots, and sausage. Let cook for another 10
  6. Add garlic to pan and cook another 5
  7. Add the contents of the pan into the Dutch oven after the beans have boiled for 10-15 min total.
  8. Add seasoning to dutch oven and bring to a boil.
  9. Reduce the heat to low, and cover the mixture.
  10. Cook until the beans are soft, and has thickened the Stir frequently to prevent sticking to bottom of pot.
  11. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  12. Enjoy!
