The Ingredients need to make A Foodies Lunch bowl:
  1. You need For of veg pulao
  2. Prepare 1 cup of basmati rice
  3. It’s 3-4 pieces of cinnamon
  4. You need 3 of star anise
  5. You need 1 tbsp of oil
  6. You need 1/3 tsp of mustard seeds
  7. You need 1 of medium sized onion
  8. Prepare 5 of French beans chopped
  9. You need 1 of small carrot chopped into squares
  10. Prepare 1/2 of capsicum chopped into squares
  11. Prepare 1 tsp of Kashmiri lal mirch powder
  12. It’s 1/2 tsp of cumin powder
  13. You need 1/2 tsp of kasuri methi
  14. Prepare 1 of lemon
  15. It’s as per taste of Salt
  16. You need For of Mushroom Masala
  17. It’s 1/2 tsp of ginger garlic paste
  18. Prepare 1 bowl of desi mushroom
  19. You need 1 tsp of Oil
  20. Prepare 1 bunch of curry leaves
  21. It’s 7-8 pods of crushed garlic
  22. You need Other of ingredients
  23. You need as required of Salad
  24. It’s as required of Fried Chicken
Step to make A Foodies Lunch bowl:
  1. Cook mushroom with salt and ginger garlic paste and keep aside for 30 min
  2. In a pan heat oil, put crushed garlic and curry leaves and fry it for 2-3 minutes on medium flame. Then add red chilli paste and mix it well. Put the cooked mushroom, mix it well and cook it till the raw smell of red chilli paste is gone. Put off the flame and ready to serve.
  3. Boil water with salt, cinnamon and star anise. Add rice. Cook it till almost done. Strain the water, sprinkle little oil and keep aside.
  4. At the same time, heat oil, add mustard seeds and fry it for a minute. Then put onion and cook it till it turns translucent. Now add chopped French beans and carrot, mix well and fry it for 4-5 minute
  5. Put kasuri methi, mix it well.. then add red chilli powder, cumin powder and mix it. After 3 minutes put in the chopped capsicum and mix it again.
  6. Now add cooked rice (by keeping a bowl of white rice aside) and mix well. Simmer it for 5 minutes on low flame.Squeeze a lemon and its ready to serve.
  7. Prepare salad of your choice
  8. Fry chicken.
  9. Serve veg pulao, plain rice, mushroom with fried chicken and salad in a plate.. decorate it with lemon slice, star anise, curry leave serve hot
