Today on Food Sessions we cook a Japanese popular dish Tonkatsu [Pork cutlet] with rice, cabbage and tofu. Tonkatsu is one of the most popular Yoshoku dishes here in Japan and everyone loves it. This pork cutlet is light and crispy on the outside and tender on.

This deep-fried pork cutlet recipe I am going to share is slightly different than the traditional Japanese tonkatsu. The Ingredients need to make Faux Pork Cutlet (Tofu Cutlet):
  1. Prepare of Firm tofu
  2. You need of All-purpose flour
  3. It’s of Egg
  4. Prepare of Panko
  5. You need of Cabbage

Tonkatsu is a fried Japanese pork cutlet thats usually served with a sweet and savory spiced fruit sauce. My version features a tender thick-cut rib-chop thats been. Use this brillant way to make your tofu taste super delicious with extra crunchy and crispy coating that adds texture and flavor. With the tongs, coat the tofu slice with the egg mixture, allow the excess to drip off.

Step to make Faux Pork Cutlet (Tofu Cutlet):
