The Ingredients need to make Italian style meatloaf:
  1. It’s of meat
  2. You need 1 lb of Italian sausage
  3. It’s 2 lb of ground beef, lower fat is better
  4. You need of veggies
  5. Prepare 1 large of onion, chopped
  6. It’s 2 each of bell peppers
  7. Prepare 1 each of fresh basil, about a handful
  8. You need 6 clove of garlic
  9. Prepare of other
  10. You need 2 tbsp of worcestershire sauce
  11. It’s 1 cup of parmesan cheese
  12. You need 4 of grinds black pepper
  13. You need 3 large of eggs
  14. It’s 3/4 cup of Bread crumbs or rolled oats
  15. Prepare of topping
  16. Prepare 3 cup of tomato sauce

  9. Mix well, I just use my hand
  10. Form a loaf, this is on a 9 X 12 roasting pan.
  11. If you desire, about 10-15 minutes before finished, spread the tomato sauce on top to allow it to cook in. I am not a big fan of doing this, so I dont.
  12. Cook for 60-70 minutes, an internal temp of 160°F.
  13. Let rest about 5-10 minutes before cutting.
  14. This time I served with corn, Pablo pepper rice.

The cheese makes the meatloaf very moist and tasty! The herbs impart a wonderful flavor as well! I freeze this after slicing in a container and reheat in the microwave.
