The Ingredients needed to make Italian Focaccia Bread:
  1. You need 2 1/2 Cups of refined flour
  2. It’s 1 tbsp of yeast
  3. You need 1/4 cup of warm water
  4. You need 2 tsp of sugar
  5. You need 1/2 tsp of salt
  6. It’s 3 tbsp of olive oil
  7. Prepare of For Toppings
  8. It’s 1 of Sliced onion
  9. It’s 1 of Sliced tomato
  10. It’s 1/2 of Sliced capsicum
  11. Prepare 1 tsp of Oregano
  12. Prepare 1 tsp of Chilli flakes
Step to make Italian Focaccia Bread:
  1. Take a warm water add yeast,sugar,salt and 1 tbsp refined flour in it and mix it well.Now keep this in a warm place for 20 minutes until the yeast is foamy.If it get foams then only start further processing otherwise leave it.
  2. Now take a big bowl, add refined flour,a little salt,and a mixture of yeast in it and start kneading the dough using 11/2 cup of water gradually as required to make a sticky dough.
  3. Take the dough out onto a floured surface and knead by hand for at least 10 minutes or until smooth. If the dough is too sticky then add olive oil.The dough should be very soft that, when you touch it, it bounces back.
  4. Grease the large bowl and place the dough into a bowl and cover it with a cling wrap.Let it rest on a warm place for about 2 hourLet the dough rise until doubled in size.
  5. After 2 hours,transfer the dough to a greased baking pan, Apply some olive oil on hands, and gently press it down into the baking pan. Dimple the top of your focaccia bread with your fingers and drizzle the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil onto the top. Spread vegetables over top and pushing them gently into the dough.Sprinkle mixed herbs, oregano,minced garlic and salt onto the top of the dough.
  6. Again cover the dough with the cling wrap and let the dough rise for another 30 minute
  7. Meanwhile, preheat the wok for 10 minute Brush the toppings with oil before baking to prevent a burning. Now, bake the vegetable focaccia bread for 35 minutes at low flame.Let the Vegetable focaccia bread cool completely at room temperature.Slice and serve with any choice of your dip.Our Italian Focaccia bread is ready to serve.Enjoy😍🥰👍
