The Ingredients need to make Italian Hoagie Dip:
  1. It’s 1/4 lb. of prosciutto, chopped
  2. It’s 1/4 lb. of hard salami, chopped
  3. It’s 1/4 lb. of capicola (or other ham), chopped
  4. You need 1/4 lb. of pepperoni, chopped
  5. It’s 1/4 lb. of provolone cheese, chopped
  6. Prepare 1 of ripe tomato, diced
  7. Prepare 1 of small red onion, diced
  8. You need 1/2 head of iceberg lettuce, shredded
  9. It’s 1/4 cup of hot pepper hoagie spread, or a few pepperoncini, sliced
  10. It’s 3 Tb of dried oregano
  11. Prepare 1 cup of mayonnaise
  12. You need 2 Tb of olive oil
  13. It’s 1 loaf of round bread, any kind
Step to make Italian Hoagie Dip:
  1. Chop all lunchmeat and cheese into small bite-size pieces and place in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Dice the tomato and onion and add to the mixing bowl.
  3. Shred the lettuce and add to the bowl.
  4. Add the hoagie spread or sliced pepperoncini and mix well.
  5. Gradually add in the dried oregano and mix well.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise and olive oil until creamy and add it to the ingredients and mix well.
  7. Cut out the center of the round bread to form a bowl and fill with the dip. Break up the excess pieces of bread and place around the bread bowl for dipping.
