The Ingredients needed to make Vanilla Rice Krispie Treats:

1. It’s 1/4 cup of butter
2. It’s 1 tsp of vanilla extract
3. You need 10 oz of marshmallows
4. Prepare 6 cup of Rice Krispie Cereal

Melt margarine in large non-stick pan (I use my T-Fal Dutch oven) over medium-low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth. 6. let cool, then cut into squares
7. helpful tip…. spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray such as Pam. Also spray spoon using to stir cereal in. Before putting mixture into pan spray hands with cooking spray and press mixture into pan. mixture wont stick to your pan, spoon or hand s!

Let cool for an hour and then cut into squares to serve. Ive never made rice crispie treats with vanilla, but it adds a great softness to the flavor. Best if served the same day.
