The Ingredients need to make Cajun Shrimp Sauce (over Steak):
  1. It’s 1 Tb of vegetable oil
  2. Prepare 2 of steaks (strip, ribeye, etc.)
  3. It’s Dash of steak seasonings
  4. You need 2 Tb of butter
  5. It’s 8 oz. of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  6. Prepare Dash of shrimp seasoning (Old Bay or Cajun)
  7. It’s 2 cloves of garlic, smashed
  8. It’s Dash of pepper flakes
  9. Prepare 1/4 cup of vegetable broth (or dry white wine)
  10. You need 1/4 cup of heavy cream
  11. It’s 1 Tb of whole-grain or Dijon mustard
  12. It’s Dash of Cajun or Creole seasonings
  13. It’s 1 Tb of lemon juice
  14. It’s 1/4 cup of parsley, chopped
Step to make Cajun Shrimp Sauce (over Steak):
  1. Prepare the steaks (seasonings) and the shrimp (seasonings) ahead of time and place in the refrigerator while preparing the side dishe
  2. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steaks and sear for 3-4 minutes (depending on thickness and desired level of doneness). Sear the other side of the steak, one minute les

  6. Add the cream and mix lightly. Add the mustard and seasonings and bring to a slight boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for one minute.
  7. While simmering, add back in the shrimp along with the lemon juice and parsley. Heat the sauce for another minute. Mix lightly.
  8. Serve the sauce over the plated steaks and enjoy.
