Drizzle some olive oil on a skillet or grill pan and grill chicken breast until cooked through on both side While chicken is standing, sauté blend of. Heat oil in a medium size skillet and sauté chicken pieces until golden.

The Ingredients needed to make Chinese-Style Chicken Breast Sauté:

- It’s 1 pinch of of each ☆ Salt and pepper
- You need 1/2 tbsp of ☆ Sake
- You need 1/4 tsp of ☆ Chinese five-spice powder (if youre going to omit this, see Step 6)
- Prepare 1/2 piece of ☆ Ginger
- Prepare 10 cm of length ☆ Japanese leek (the green part)
- It’s 1 small of clove ☆ Garlic
- Prepare 1 of Katakuriko
- Prepare 1 of Sesame oil
- You need 150 ml of ● Water
- It’s 1/2 tsp of ● Chinese soup stock
- You need 1/2 tbsp of each ● Sugar and gochujang
- It’s 1 tsp of ● Oyster sauce
- Prepare 1 of Vegetables for garnish (can be omitted)
You can make a quick meal for the family by tossing chicken and vegetables into a skillet with a sauce.
Before you know it, a healthy, delicious dinner is ready.
While its common to use chicken breasts for stir-fry, thighs or a whole, cut-up chicken work well in most recipes as well.
Chicken thighs hold up better to longer cooking times, allowing flavors of sauces and braises to penetrate without drying out.
Step to make Chinese-Style Chicken Breast Sauté:
- Cut off the skin and extra fat from the chicken brea Slice into thin slivers and put into a plastic bag with all the ingredients marked with ☆ - salt, pepper, sake, five-spice powder, leek and garlic. Massage well to let the flavors penetrate, then leave to marinate for at least 10 minute
- Combine the ingredients marked ● - water, Chinese stock granules, sugar, gochujang and oyster sauce. Take the aromatic vegetables used in the marinade (the ginger, leek and garlic) out of the bag and put into the bowl with the ● ingredient
- Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan, coat the chicken pieces in katakuriko and fry over high heat. When one side is golden brown and the other side has started to brown its OK even if its not cooked through yet.
- Add the combined ● ingredients from Step 2 to the pan and cook for 1 to 2 minutes while shaking the pan to reduce the sauce. The photo shows how it looks just before its done.
- Take out the aromatic vegetables (although you can leave the leek in if you want since it can be eaten). Transfer to a serving plate and its done. Add some garnish if you like.
- If you are omitting the five-spice powder It will lack some punch, so add some shichimi spice. Alternatively you can adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
Chicken breast, on the other hand, is better for quick cooking applications like stir-frying and grilling.
Since this dish is essentially a braise, chicken thighs are preferred.
Whisk together egg whites and soy sauce.
Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
Chicken breasts marinated in teriyaki sauce, lemon, garlic, and sesame oil, then grilled to a tasty finish.
