The Ingredients needed to make Classic Cold Day Corned Beef Dinner:
  1. You need 1 of corned beef
  2. It’s 4 of Russet Potatos
  3. You need 4 of Red potatos
  4. You need 1 of White Onion
  5. You need 1/2 of Red Cabbage
  6. You need of garlic powder
  7. You need of onion powder
  8. Prepare of salt
  9. Prepare of black pepper
  10. Prepare 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar
Step to make Classic Cold Day Corned Beef Dinner:
  1. First lets put the corned beef into the slow cooker and cover with water
  2. Now lets add in the included spice packet. I also put in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper.
  3. Now that we got that going. Lets attack the vegetables
  4. Lets drop a rough chop on the potatos and onion
  5. Toss the vegetables into the slow cooker. Pour a 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar into the mix. Were letting this go for 3 hours
  6. At the 3 hour mark we are putting a half of a head of cabbage in.
  7. We let this go for another 1.5 to 2 hours or until our cabbage is tender.
  8. Lets pull out the corned beef and slice
  9. I used a slotted spoon to plate the vegetables and went back with a ladle to pour the broth over the entire meal once plated. Hit it with some finishing salt. Enjoy.
