The Ingredients needed to make Steamed Apple Cake Made in a Lekue Silicone Steamer:

1. It’s 100 grams of Pancake mix
2. Prepare 60 ml of Milk
3. It’s 30 grams of Sugar
4. You need 1 tbsp of Vegetable oil
5. Prepare 1/4 tsp of Vegetable oil (for greasing the silicone steamer)
6. Prepare of Simmered apple
7. It’s 1/2 of Apple
8. You need 2 tbsp of Sugar
9. It’s 5 grams of Butter (or margarine)

Step to make Steamed Apple Cake Made in a Lekue Silicone Steamer:

1. Peel the apple, and cut into 4 pieces lengthwise. Cut into about 5-mm thick slice Add the apple, sugar, and butter into the silicone steamer.
2. Cover with a lid, and microwave for 2 minutes and 30 seconds at 600 W. Leave it for 2 minutes to let it steam. Set aside 1/2 of the simmered apple for the topping.
3. Add the pancake mix, sugar, milk, and vegetable oil into a bowl, and mix with a whisk.
4. Add the remaining simmered apple from the silicone steamer and 1 tablespoon of the syrup into the Step 3 batter, and mix with a spatula.
5. If there is some syrup left in the silicone steamer, wipe off with a paper towel, and grease with 1/4 teaspoon of vegetable oil.
6. Pour the Step 4 batter into the Step 5 steamer, and top with the simmered apple which was set aside.
7. Cover with the lid, and microwave for 2 minutes and 40 seconds, and let it steam for 3 minute If its not cooked through, please increase the cooking time.
