The Ingredients needed to make Red Miso Chicken Teriyaki:
- It’s 1 of Chicken thigh meat (boneless)
- It’s 1 dash of of each Salt, pepper
- You need 1/2 tbsp of plus Vegetable oil
- You need 1 tbsp of ★ Red miso (or Hatcho miso)
- It’s 2 tbsp of ★ Mirin
- It’s 1 1/2 tbsp of ★ Sugar
- It’s 1 tbsp of ★ Sake
- It’s 1 of White sesame seeds
Step to make Red Miso Chicken Teriyaki:
- Cut the excess fat off the chicken thigh, and cut into bite sized piece Season lightly with salt and pepper. Combine the ★ ingredient
- Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, and pan fry the chicken with the skin side down. When its browned, turn over, cover with a lid, turn the heat to low and steam-cook until its done.
- When the chicken is cooked through remove the lid, and wipe out the excess oil and moisture in the pan. Swirl in the ★ ingredient
- Turn the heat up a little and cook down the sauce. When its thickened, turn off the heat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and its done.
