The Ingredients needed to make Salty Idli:
- You need 1 cup of rava/sooji
- You need 1 cup of curd
- It’s as needed of water
- It’s 1 tsp of eno
- You need to taste of salt
Step to make Salty Idli:
- In a bowl mix rava and curd. Mix it properly to avoid lump. Rest mixture for 10 min
- Add water to adjust the consistency (thick). Add salt. Mix properly.
- Boil water in a deep utensil in which idli stand can fit until 1 boil. Now grease idli stand.
- Now add Eno to the mixture and mix it quickly. Now pour the mixture into the idli stand. Fill only 3/4 mixture in each mold.
- Put it in a steamed utensil and steam for 15 min After 15 min check by inserting a toothpick in idlis if it comes clean then idlis are ready.
- Cool for 5 mins and take out idlis with the help of knife.
- Soft Idlis are ready. Serve with sambar and tomato or coconut chutney.
