The Ingredients needed to make Christmas Sugar Cookies:
  1. It’s 250 grams of plain flour
  2. Prepare 150-170 grams of softened unsalted butter
  3. You need 200 grams of fine sugar
  4. You need 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
  5. It’s 1 pinch of salt
  6. You need 1/2 tablespoon of baking powder
  7. You need Handful of Choco chips(Optional)
Step to make Christmas Sugar Cookies:
  1. Add the salt, flour and baking powder in a bowl and mix well
  2. Combine butter, vanilla and sugar in another bowl and whisk until soft peaks appear
  3. Now add the flour gradually the butter and keep folding in
  4. Once done, knead softly and add the Choco chips and mix
  5. Tuck the dough into a ball and refrigerate covered for one hour
  6. Post refrigeration,preheat the oven to 180 degrees celcius
  7. Take the cookie dough out of the fridge and lay it on a greased baking sheet
  8. Place another sheet on top and flatten gently
  9. Start to roll and the cut desired shaped cookies using cutters
  10. Place them on the baking tray and bake for 10-12 minutes or until done
  11. Post cooling completely, prepare your own desired colourful icing or with the help of ready to use ones, decorate your cookies
  12. Let the icing rest for an hour to set
