The Ingredients need to make Chicken Biryani / Masala Chicken Biryani:
- You need 1/2 kg of Chicken
- Prepare 2 large cups of Basmati rice
- It’s 8 of Green cardamom
- It’s 1 of Bay leaf
- It’s 3 stick of Cinnamon
- Prepare 4 of cloves
- Prepare 1/2 tsp of Black pepper powder
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Red chilli powder
- You need 2 tbsp of Kashmiri mirch powder
- Prepare 1 piece of Mace
- Prepare 1 pinch of Nutmeg
- Prepare 3 tsp of Pure ghee
- Prepare 3 of Sliced onions
- You need to taste of Salt
- It’s 1 bowl of Curd
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Ginger, Garlic paste
- Prepare 2-3 of Green cardamom powder
- Prepare handful of Chopped coriander leaves
- You need handful of Mint leaves
- You need 1 tbsp of Butter/ghee
Step to make Chicken Biryani / Masala Chicken Biryani:
- Wash and soak the rice for 1/2 an hour
Wash the chicken pat dry the excess water with muslin cloth.
Now marinate the chicken with curd, salt, red chilli powder, kashmiri mirch powder, 2 stick cinnamon, black pepper, ginger, garlic paste, mace, nutmeg, green cardamom and 1 tbsp ghee,keep it for 1/2 an hour.
- Heat the remaining ghee in a pan and fry the sliced onion,
Boil the water in a heavy bottom pan add 1 stick cinnamon, salt to taste, bay leaf, green cardamom, clove and rice cook the rice.
Now heat the butter in another pan cook the marinated chicken for 10 minute
- Now arrange the layer with rice, cooked chicken,fried onion, butter on the top spread the mint leaves and coriander leaves
Cover and put the pot on a griddle and cook for 10 to 15 minutes
