- You need of Okra
- Prepare of Vegetable Stock
- It’s of Passata
- You need of Medium Onion (finely chopped)
- It’s of Garlic Cloves (crushed)
- You need of Lemon (juiced)
- It’s of Olive Oil
- It’s of The Spices
- Prepare of Bay Leaves
- It’s of Ground Cumin
- It’s of Ground Corriander
- Prepare of Cayenne Powder
- It’s of dried Chili
- You need of Salt Pepper
Step to make Egyptian/Lebanese Okra (Bamia) Vegan/Vegetarian:
- Saute Onion and Garlic (Approx 10mins)
- Add Spices and fry until fragrant (Approx 2mins)
- Add Okra and stir (Approx 2mins)
- Add passata and vegetable stock and bring to boil. Turn heat down, cover and simmer for approx 20mins
- Add lemon juice, stir and serve
