The Ingredients need to make Quick Egg Biryani:

  7. Prepare 1/2 tsp of dhaniya jeera(coriander cumin) powder

  9. You need 1 of onion finely sliced
  10. Prepare As needed of Oil to deep fry
  11. Prepare of For the rice
  12. Prepare 1 cup of rice washed and soaked for 30 minutes
  13. It’s 4 tbsp of ghee
  14. It’s 1-2 of black cardamom/ kali Elaichi
  15. It’s 1 tsp of cumin seeds/ jeera
  16. It’s 1 inch of cinnamon/ dalchini
  17. Prepare 3-4 of green cardamom/ hari Elaichi
  18. It’s 1 of bay leaf/ tej patta
  19. Prepare 1 of Large tomato finely chopped
  20. Prepare 3-4 of cloves/laung
  21. It’s 1/2 tsp of degi mirch
  22. It’s 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste
  23. It’s 1 of large onion finely chopped
  24. Prepare 1-2 of green chilies finely chopped
  25. It’s 1 tsp of salt
  26. It’s 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder/ haldi
  27. You need 1 tsp of biryani masala or garam masala
  28. Prepare 2 tbsp of kasturi methi
  29. It’s 1/4 cup of green coriander leaves finely chopped
  30. You need 2 tbsp of mint leaves chopped
  31. You need 1 cup of raita or curd to serve can
Step to make Quick Egg Biryani:
  1. Wash the rice in plenty of water and soak it for 30 minute Boil 4-5 glasses of water in a pot and add the soaked rice. Cook on high heat till rice is done yet not mushy. Drain the water and collect the rice in a colander. Let the rice stay in the colander for some time.
  2. Deep fry the sliced onion to a golden brown colour and keep aside. You may skip this step to hurry up the proces But sliced onion has always been a very important component of biryani recipe
  3. To boil the eggs, bring them to room temperature. Boil 4-5 cups of water in a pot, add the eggs and let them come to a boil on full flame. Now lower the heat to minimum and allow the eggs to simmer on low heat for 10 minutes and no more than that. Peel the boiled eggs and poke them with a knife. Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a heavy bottomed Kadhai and ½ tsp salt, ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp red chilli powder or less and ½ tsp dhaniya powder. Add the boiled eggs and fry them in the ghee for 2-3 minute Take
  4. Now in the same kadhai heat 4 tbsp of ghee. Add the jeera, hari Elaichi, kali Elaichi, laung, tej patta and dalchini. Let the spices sauté for 30 seconds, on low heat.
  5. Add the chopped onion Sauté the onions till translucent. Now add the ginger garlic paste. Sauté till onions turn golden brown.
  6. Add the salt, haldi, degi mirch and biryani masala, cook for 30 second Don’t let the dry spices burn, add 2 tbsp of water if needed.
  7. Now add the tomatoes and green chilie Cook till the tomatoes are absolutely done and oil separate It will take about 7-8 minutes on medium heat. keep stirring in between.
  8. Now add the kasoori methi, green coriander and mint leave Mix well.
  9. Add ½ a cup of water and cook for 2-3 minute
  10. Add the boiled rice, fried onions and fried egg Mix well. Cover and cook for 5 minutes on very low heat. Yummy and super easy egg biryani is ready.
