4. Prepare 2 of Sweet onion
5. You need 3 of Green pepper
6. You need 1 of jalapeño pepper
7. You need 1 head of garlic
8. You need 3 can of (14 oz) fire roasted tomatoes
9. It’s of Spice Mix
10. You need 4 tbsp of smoked paprika
11. Prepare 3 tbsp of cumin
12. Prepare 3 tbsp of Chili powder
13. It’s 2 tbsp of garlic powder
14. You need 1 tbsp of Cayenne pepper
15. Prepare 1/2 tbsp of Black pepper
16. It’s 1/2 tbsp of garlic salt
17. You need 1 tsp of thyme

Step to make Spicy Bacon Chili (with sweet potato mash):

1. Add cubed bacon to a large pot over medium-high heat.
2. Stirring occasionally, cook until bacon is crisp. Drain grease as needed.
3. Distract yourself from the bacon aroma and chop, dice, and mince your veggies respectively.
4. Once bacon is cooked, add the veggies and mix, stirring occasionally.
5. When the onions start turning clear, mix in the ground beef and spice
6. After the beef has lightly browned, add the tomatoes and mix.
7. Bring your concoction to boil and then back down to simmer for as many hours as youve got. Stir every half - hour to blend the flavor
8. About 45 minutes before you serve the chili, begin cooking the sweet potatoe
9. Poke holes in the Sweet potatoes with a fork and throw em in a 450°F stove.
10. Check on the potatoes after 30 minutes by poking with a fork to see if completely soft.
11. Once the potatoes are done, remove the skin and mash them in a separate bowl.
12. In small bowls, ladle chili on sweet potatoes and youre good to go!
