The Ingredients needed to make Mutton Biryani:
- Prepare 3/4 Cup of Oil
- You need 4-5 of Onion sliced
- It’s 1 kg of Mutton(partially boiled)
- It’s 2 tbsp of Ginger garlic paste
- Prepare 4-5 of Tomatoes diced
- Prepare 3 of Potatoes diced
- Prepare 1 Cup of Water
- Prepare 1 tsp of Red chili powder
- You need 1 tsp of Coriander powder
- You need 1/4 tsp of Mace powder
- You need 1/4 tsp of Nutmeg powder
- Prepare 1/2 packet of Shaan Sindhi Biryani Masala
- You need to taste of Salt
- Prepare 1 of Star anise
- Prepare 4-5 of Green cardamom
- You need 4-5 of Cloves
- You need 2 of Bay leaves
- It’s 1/2 Cup of Yoghurt
- It’s 1/2 bunch of mint leaves
- Prepare 6-8 of green chillies
- Prepare 1 kg of Rice Basmati (soaked 30 minutes and boiled with salt whole spices)
- Prepare 2 tbsp of Kewra water
- Prepare 1/4 tsp of Yellow food color
Step to make Mutton Biryani:
- In a pot,add oil and onion,fry until golden brown.Add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste,spices and pre boiled meat,cook for 5mins and add
- Cover and cook on low flame for sometime.Add potatoes and cook until meat and potatoes are fully done.
- Add yoghurt and cook, add kewra,podina leaves and green chillies
- In a separate pot put water with whole spices to boil rice.
- Now once the rice are boiled aik kanni,star in and put the rice layer over the already prepared masala and keep for dum,sprinkle food colour.
- In 15-20 mins they will be ready,serve with raita and enjoy
