The Ingredients needed to make Asian Peanut Chicken:
- You need 400 gms of chicken wings
- Prepare 1/4 cup of chicken stock
- It’s 2 of medium onions sliced
- It’s 1 of capsicum sliced
- You need 1 of carrot sliced
- You need 1 inch of ginger sliced finely
- You need 5-6 cloves of garlic minced
- You need 1 1/2 tbsp of soya sauce
- It’s 2 tsp of red chilli sauce
- Prepare 1 tbsp of hot and sweet tomato chilli sauce
- It’s 1 pinch of monosodium glutamate
- It’s 1 1/2 tbsp of cornflour
- Prepare 1 tsp of black pepper powder
- You need 2 tbsp of peanuts roasted
- You need 3-4 of dry red chillies
- Prepare 1 tbsp of vinegar
- It’s 3-4 of refined or sesame seed oil
Step to make Asian Peanut Chicken:
- Marinate chicken with 1 tbsp soya sauce,little salt and vinegar for an hour.Meanwhile slice onion,carrot and green bell pepper.Sprinkle cornflour over the marinated chicken and mix well.
- Heat oil and stir fry chicken in batche Set aside and sprinkle garlic and ginger.Stir till light brown and add sliced onion,carrot and capsicum.Sprinkle salt and stir fry.Add chicken and season with salt,black pepper, and fry till chicken is nearly done.
- Toss chicken with stir fried vegetable Make a slurry of 1 tsp cornflour and chicken stock or Add soya sauce,red chilli sauce,hot and sweet tomato sauce and a pinch of monosodium glutamate.Add 1 drop orange red food colour.Mix all and pour this slurry over chicken and toss till it coats chicken.Add roasted peanuts and fried red chillieAdjust salt as soya sauce is high in sodium content.Serve with chowmein or chinese fried rice.
