The Ingredients need to make Sweet Ugali Snack:
  1. You need 1/2 litre of water/ginger concentrate/rosemary concentrate or mix
  2. Prepare 1/2 litre of milk
  3. You need 50/50 of mix sorghum/millet and maize flour mix enough for liquid
  4. You need 2 tablespoons of margarine or butter
  5. It’s 1 slice of cheese
  6. Prepare 1/2 cup of sugar or more to taste
  7. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of citric acid or lemon juice equivalent
  8. Prepare 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder
  9. Prepare 1 tablespoon of turmeric to enhance colour
  10. Prepare Pinch of salt
  11. Prepare of Oil for shallow frying
Step to make Sweet Ugali Snack:
  1. Boil the water with all the ingredients except flour and shallow frying oil.
  2. When liquid is boiled, make very soft ugali the normal way with the flour and let it cook until ready.
  3. When ready, take it out of the cooking pot, let it cool, then cut out thin slice
  4. Heat the oil in a pan and shallow fry the slices until they develop a good cru
  5. Serve them hot or cold with your hot beverage. You can also serve with a sweet sauce and eat as dessert. The true African cake!
