The Ingredients needed to make Chocolate Gelato:
  1. Prepare 2 cups of full cream milk
  2. You need 1 cup of fresh cream
  3. It’s 2 tbsp of corn starch
  4. You need 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  5. It’s 4 tbsp of organic cocoa powder
  6. You need 1 pinch of salt

We like to pair it with Pistachio Gelato. This chocolate gelato recipe features chocolate, sugar, egg yolks and milk. This is a super-chocolaty Italian-style ice cream - gelato; use the best ingredients possible, because it really makes a difference. Step to make Chocolate Gelato:
  1. Bring 1 3/4 cups milk just to a boil over medium heat in a medium-sized saucepan.
  2. While milk is heating, add fresh cream and whisk untill dissolved. whisk sugar, 1/4 cup cold milk, cornstarch, and salt together in a mixing bowl until smooth. Whisk cold mixture into the boiling milk and bring to a boil over medium heat; let boil for 5 minutes on medium flame, whisking constantly until mixture is very thick. Remove from heat.
  3. Add cocoa powder into cornstarch-milk mixture. Whisk well and seive the mixture if needed. Let cool slightly, stirring frequently to prevent forming ice. Cover surface with wax paper or foil paper. Chill in a refrigerator until cold, at least 2 hour
  4. Transfer to an airtight container and freeze in a freezer until hardened if necessary.(at least 5hours)
  5. Enjoy the Italian chocolate gelato at home.
  6. Note Covering the mixture is very important. If you are using chocolate, make sure you powder it before using.

Our Double Dark Chocolate Gelato is blended with semi-sweet chocolate morsels and just a dash of vermouth.
