  1. Prepare 1 large of Japanese sweet potato
  2. Prepare 2 tbsp of Sesame oil (or vegetable oil)
  3. Prepare 200 ml of Water
  4. You need 1 tsp of Bonito dashi stock
  5. You need 2 tbsp of Sugar
  6. Prepare 1 tbsp of Miso
  7. You need 3 tbsp of Toasted sesame seeds (white)
Step to make Sweetly Aromatic Sweet Potatoes Stewed in Sesame Miso:
  1. Chop the sweet potato into fairly large sized piece Rinse in water 4 to 5 times, and thoroughly drain excess
  2. Heat the sesame oil in frying pan, and add the sweet potatoes and stir-fry for 3 to 4 minutes on medium heat. Once lightly browned, absorb excess oil with a paper towel.
  3. Add dashi broth, sugar, and 1 tablespoon of miso seasoning.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat, cover with a drop lid, and simmer for 10 to 12 minute
  5. Add 1 teaspoon of miso and dissolve to add a finishing touch.
  6. Coat in sesame seeds and serve.
