The Ingredients needed to make Fried Rice:
- Prepare 4 cups of basmati rice
- It’s 1/2 cup of Green Pea diced
- It’s 1 of Green bell pepper diced
- It’s 1/2 cup of Vegetable Oil
- It’s 1/2 of kilo gizzard diced
- Prepare 5 of habanero Pepper diced
- You need 1 of red bell pepper diced
- You need 1 tbs of Curry Powder
- It’s 1/2 cup of sweetcorn
- It’s 5 of medium sized carrots diced
- It’s 2 of bulb onions diced
- You need 3 of bouillion cubes
- It’s 1 tsp of oregano
- It’s of Salt (to taste)
Step to make Fried Rice:
- Parboil rice and set aside.
- Steam diced gizzard, spice with salt, pepper, onion, bouillion and a dash of oregano, drain and set aside.
- Heat up cooking pot, pour in vegetable oil, fry gizzard till its dried up, remove and drain with a paper towel and set aside.
- Add the sliced onions stir for 1-2 minutes then add pepper, chopped carrot and green beans, green and red bell pepper, bouillion cube, salt, curry powder and oregano, stir in the fried gizzard and stir continously for 2 mins and taste.
- Add rice, stir, cover your pot and cook for 5 to 8mins, once rice is tender and water has dried out, turn off heat and serve
