Kaldereta or caldereta is a meat stew usually made using goat, variations of the dish use beef, chicken or pork. Fish Caldereta (Home Made) - This is also the healthiest caldereta version because it uses fish I think this is the easiest version of caldereta Ive seen. I made beef caldereta on my daughters bday! everybody loves it.

  14. It’s 1 packages of cream dory fish slice
  15. Prepare 1/3 cup of water
  16. Prepare 1 piece of green or red bell pepper
  17. You need 1/4 cup of peanut butter
  18. Prepare 1/3 can of liver spred
  19. You need 1/3 can of liver spread

Traditionally, Caldereta is prepared using goat meat. But since it is rather difficult to come by, I opted to cook it with the more easily available meat…beef. Beef is actually the more preferred meat by many. Kaldereta is traditionally made with goat meat.

Step to make Fish Caldereta:
  1. Saute garlic onion in the butter. Add water, tomato sauce, tomato paste, seasoning, and fish. Simmer for about a minute then add olives, bell pepper, peanut butter, liver spread.
  2. Simmer until sauce thicken then add the chili and fresh asparagu Serve with steam rice.
