The Ingredients needed to make Fried Chicken Breast (Tatsuta-Age):
  1. Prepare 1 of Chicken breast
  2. Prepare 1/2 tbsp of ・Sake
  3. Prepare 1/2 tsp of ・Sugar
  4. Prepare 1/8 tsp of ・Salt
  5. Prepare 1 tbsp of Soy sauce
  6. It’s 1 tbsp of Mirin
  7. You need 1 tsp of Squeezed ginger juice (or grated ginger)
  8. You need 1 of Katakuriko
  9. It’s 1 of Frying oil
Step to make Fried Chicken Breast (Tatsuta-Age):
  1. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and add to a bowl. Sprinkle sake, sugar, and salt and massage into the chicken to soften.
  2. Add the soy sauce, mirin, and ginger juice to the chicken from Step 1 and let it sit for a while.
  3. Cover the chicken pieces from Step 2 in katakuriko and fry in oil.
  4. Once the chicken has cooled, place in a freeze-store bag and freeze.
  5. When using the chicken in bento lunch boxes, microwave it first before packing.
