Hyderabadi chicken biryani is an aromatic, mouth watering and authentic Indian dish with succulent chicken in layers of fluffy rice, fragrant spices and fried onion This stovetop version of the well-known Indian rice dish is made with chicken and seasoned with turmeric and ginger. The Ingredients need to make Chicken Biryani:
  1. Prepare 300 g of Basmati Rice
  2. It’s 250 g of chicken boneless
  3. Prepare 25 g of Butter or ghee
  4. It’s 3 of large onion finely chopped
  5. Prepare 2 tbsp of garlic ginger paste
  6. Prepare 2 of bay leaf
  7. You need 3 of black cardamom
  8. You need 4 of green cardamom
  9. You need 1 of Cinnamon stick
  10. It’s 4 of Clove
  11. You need 5 of black pepper
  12. It’s 2 of star anise
  13. Prepare 1 tbsp of Biryani masala(any brand)
  14. You need of Salt as taste
  15. Prepare 30 g of Chopped coriander

I had never made chicken biryani before I decided to share this recipe. Chicken Biryani is one of the more complicated rice dishes in Indian/pakistani cooking. Being quite an amateur cook I still managed to cook up a feast with this single dish and my hubby is still licking hi Making a chicken biryani is a lengthy.

Step to make Chicken Biryani:
  1. Soak 300g basmati rice in warm water, then wash in cold until the water runs clear.
  2. Heat 25g butter in a saucepan and cook half finely sliced large onion till golden brown colour than take out separate than add half other onions,garlic ginger paste and green chilli with all whole spices saute for 10 minutes,
  3. Add chicken saute 5 minutes on high flame than add all masalas after half cooked chicken,
  4. On the other deep pan take1 liter water put cumin seeds, green cardamom, boil it,and add rice,when rice 70%cooked than strain it,
  5. Now come on biryani layers preparation- On same chicken pot,half chicken take out add layers of rice than sprinkle fried onions and coriander leaves and sprinkle biryani masala,again put leftover chicken and repeat same process till all ingredients finish,
  6. Cover the pan with foil nicely and Place a tight-fitting lid on the pan,medium low to medium and cook 15 -25 minutes
  7. Turn off the heat and leave for 10 min Stir well, mixing through chopped coriander.
  8. Serve with salad,raita,chutney Enjoy😋♥️😍🙏
