Back in Goa fish cutlets are made in every household. Ive posted fish cutlet recipe before, but this recipe is somewhat different from that. Canned tuna is something I stock up in my kitchen cupboard

The Ingredients needed to make Tuna (fish) cutlets:
  1. You need 1 ltr can of Tuna fish in water (170-200 gms)
  2. You need 1 of medium size potato, boiled
  3. You need 1 slice of bread
  4. It’s 1 of small onion, chopped
  5. You need 2 of Green chilies, chopped
  6. It’s 1/2 tsp of crushed Black pepper
  7. It’s 1/2 cup of bread crumbs
  8. You need 1 of egg
  9. Prepare 1 tsp of lemon juice
  10. It’s to taste of Salt
  11. It’s as needed of Oil

Tuna Cutlets are a healthy, tasty and crispy evening tea time snack that your kids are sure to enjoy! I know I havent been blogging much these days and I havent had much time to blog hop either. Step to make Tuna (fish) cutlets:
  1. Drain canned tuna well. Put it in a bowl and lightly mash with a fork.
  2. Add mashed boiled potato
  3. Separate egg white from yolk
  4. Grind bread slice and prepare crumbs out of it, add to the tuna along with egg yolk, chopped onion, green chillies, and salt to taste.
  5. Mix well, shape them as you like and refrigerate for 15 minutes
  6. Beat egg white lightly, add crushed pepper and salt
  7. Keep dried bread crumbs ready in a plate
  8. Heat up oil for shallow frying in a frying pan on medium flame
  9. Dip prepared cutlets in egg white and then roll them in bread crumbs
  10. Fry till golden brown and crisp.
  11. Serve with chutney/dip/sauce of your choice
