The Ingredients needed to make Filipino Pork Picadillo:
  1. Prepare 1/2 kg of ground pork
  2. Prepare 1 of medium carrot, diced
  3. You need 2 of medium potatoes, diced
  4. You need 1 of medium garlic, minced
  5. Prepare 1 of medium onion, chopped
  6. You need 3 tbsp of olive oil
  7. It’s 115 grams of tomato sauce
  8. You need 1/4 cup of fish sauce
  9. You need of ground black pepper
  10. Prepare 1 1/2 cup of water
Step to make Filipino Pork Picadillo:
  1. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan. Saute garlic and onion in medium heat and cook until the onions are slightly transparent.
  2. Add ground pork, pepper and fish sauce. Saute further until the fish sauce has been absorbed by the pork and when the pork becomes slightly cooked.
  3. Once the pork is a pale brown color, add in the potatoes, carrots and Mix well and let simmer for 5 minute
  4. Add the tomato sauce and mix well.
  5. Let the whole bit simmer for 10 more minute Stir occasionally to prevent the ingredients from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
  6. Once the tomato sauce has well incorporated and the vegetables are cooked, you may turn off the heat.
  7. Serve over rice and enjoy!
