- It’s 2 cup of Cooked Rice
- You need 1 cup of Curd
- You need 1 teaspoon of Mustard Seeds
- Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of Cumin Seeds
- It’s 1 table spoon of urad dal / black gram
- You need 1 table spoon of chana daal/ bengal gram
- You need 1/2 teaspoon of chopped Ginger
- It’s 8 of Curry Leaves
- Prepare 2 of Dry Red Chilli
- Prepare 1 of Green Chilli
- It’s 8-10 of black pepper
- It’s 1 pinch of hing / asafoetida
- You need 2 tablespoons of finely chopped Coriander
- You need 2 tablespoons of Oil
- It’s to taste of Salt
Step to make Curd Rice (Daddojanam) Kerala Style:
- Mix cooked rice salt and curd in a bowl.Mix them well.
- Heat the oil in pan.Add mustard seeds and cumin seed
- Now add black pepper, urad dal and chana daal. sauté until dal turns golden brown.
- Add grated ginger, curry leaves and dry red chilli and green chilli. Add hing. Sauté for a minute.
- Pour rice mixture in it.
- Now add finely chopped coriander leaveMix properly with a spoon. Turn off the flame
- Curd rice is ready.
