1. You need 2 C of cornflakes
2. Prepare 12 oz of large marshmallows
3. You need 3/4 oz of green food coloring
4. You need 1 stick of salted butter

Step to make Springer Family Christmas Cookies:

1. Melt butter in a large stock pot. Add marshmallows when butter is melted. Stir to coat. Add food coloring when marshmallows have smooth consistency. Stir. Add cornflakes slowly, folding to coat. When cornflakes are fully coated, use a smaller spoon to scrape cornflake mixture from kitchen stirring spoon. Mix will be extremely sticky and difficult to work with!
2. Drop clumps of cornflake mixture onto counter lined with parchment paper. Allow 10 minutes for cookies to cool and form shape before removing from parchment. Store in layers of parchment paper inside an airtight tupperware or tin.
