  6. You need 3 tbsp of olive oil
  7. Prepare 1 of onion, chopped
  8. Prepare 1/2 cup of pinot noir
  9. You need 4 cups of beef broth
  10. Prepare 4 of carrots, chopped
  11. It’s 4 stalks of celery, chopped
  12. It’s 1 of large potato, peeled and chopped
  13. You need 1 of bay leaf
  14. You need 6 oz of tomato paste
  15. It’s 1 tsp of dried rosemary
  16. It’s 1 tsp of dried parsley
  17. You need 1 tsp of basil
  18. You need 1 tsp of oregano
  19. Prepare 1/2 tsp of celery seed
  20. It’s 1 tsp of Worcester sauce
  21. It’s 2 tbsp of cornstarch
  22. You need 2 tbsp of water
Step to make Instant Pot Beef Stew:
  1. Combine flour, powdered garlic, salt and pepper in a gallon plastic bag and shake vigorously. Add cubed beef and toss to coat.
  2. Heat olive oil in a instant pot on saute mode, then add onions and beef. Cook until browned.
  3. Deglaze pot with red wine. After all the brown bits are scraped off the bottom, stir in all the other ingredients except the cornstarch and Close the pot and cook on stew setting.
  4. After pot is depressurized, create a slurry with cornstarch and Add slowly to pot and thicken to desired consistency. Salt and pepper to taste.
