Creamy parmesan cream sauce tossed with fettuccine pasta and topped with sauteed chicken. This is a classic Italian-American dish that needs to be in every single kitchen. Fettuccine Alfredo is one of my favorite.

The Ingredients need to make Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo:
  1. It’s 8 ounces of boneless skinless chicken breasts
  2. It’s 2 ounces of fettuccine pasta
  3. Prepare 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese
  4. You need 1/4 cup of alfredo sauce
  5. It’s 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  6. It’s 1/2 cup of chopped broccoli
  7. You need 1 tablespoon of crushed red pepper
  8. Prepare 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper
  9. Prepare 1 teaspoon of salt
  10. It’s 4 cups of water

Fettuccine Alfredo (Italian pronunciation: [fettuttʃiːne alˈfreːdo]) or fettuccine al burro fettuccine with butter is an Italian pasta dish of fresh fettuccine tossed with butter and Parmesan cheese. This Chicken Mushroom Fettuccine Alfredo is a perfect copycat of the Olive Gardens Chicken Mushroom Alfredo Pasta. Its so perfect, I cannot tell the difference. Bring the water and salt to a rolling boil in a large stock pot.

Step to make Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo:
  1. In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Break 2 ounces of fettuccine pasta in half and add it to the pot.
  3. Boil the pasta for 15 minutes, stirring occassionally.
  4. Drain and set the pasta aside.
  5. Remove the fat from 1 pound of chicken breasts and cut them into 1/2 inch piece
  6. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to the chicken piece
  7. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to a large skillet on medium heat.
  8. When the oil reaches 360 degrees Fahrenheit, add the chicken piece
  9. Cook for 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  10. Reduce stove heat to low and stir in 1 cup of Alfredo sauce, 1 cup of broccoli, and 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper.
  11. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, stirring occassionally.
  12. Turn off stove heat and combine skillet contents to pot of pasta.
  13. Top with 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, and 1 teaspoon bread crumb
  14. Enjoy!
